PTA Open Positions 2018-2019

Yearbook Chair
Do you love to take pictures? Are you the parent at every school event documenting the day?  We desperately need you!
The Riviera PTA is looking for a yearbook chair for the 2018-2019 school year. Our current chair is graduating from Riviera. Can you help us? You can produce the yearbook yourself, get a team together, or even start a student yearbook club to help!
This is a rewarding and exciting opportunity that will provide all our students a lasting memory of their time here at Riviera!

Bake Sale
Organize sign-ups for each classroom to provide baked goods; sell those baked goods at the Craft Fair; count money to be deposited. It’s a great chair position for someone who can’t devote too much time throughout the school year but would like to contribute to our school’s fundraiser event just once in the fall.

Green Team

The UK is set to ban all sales of single-use plastics, including plastic straws, plastic cutlery, and cotton swabs!  And their single-use plastic bag usage has dropped by 90 percent, equalling 9 billion less plastic bags being used! We can do this too!

Let’s join together and say no to all plastic bags!

Tip of the week: Always have reusable bags ready in your car!

If you’d like to read more on the UK ban…
