IN Crowd

Hey Roadrunners, the IN Crowd invites you to take the…

“KIND is IN” challenge this month!

During the month of May, practice random acts of kindness
at school and in the community.
There are three easy ways...choose one, two or all three!

1) "Kindness Bingo" - Click on this link and play!  Once your card is complete, put your name at the top and turn it into the PTA basket by May 31 to get a kind reward :).

2) "Kindness Wall" - Check out the window right outside the school office!  It's our "Kindness Wall" for students (and parents!) to write about random acts of kindness at school and in the community.  You can write down something you did OR acknowledge something done for you.  The notecards and pens are right there...take a card, write on it and tape it to the window.  Let's see if we can fill up the whole window!

4) "Kindness Heroes" -  Do you know a "Kindness Hero"?  Students, teachers and parents can turn in a nomination form to our "Caught Being Kind" box in the office.  A winner will be selected at the end of the month and announced in an eblast.

We're all IN this together, so be kINd to one another!

Spring Book Fair!

Paws for Books May 21-25!
 SET UP May 19!

WALL of PETS!

SPECIAL SATURDAY BOOK FAIR SET UP - May 19th!

Hi! We all LOVED our Mother-Son dance party last year, and we're so looking forward to it coming back on Friday, May 18th. However, our equally beloved Book Fair will start the Monday after, May 21st!  We won't be able to set up the Book Fair the Friday before as usual, as the cafeteria will be all nicely decorated for Mother-Son dance!
That's when WE NEED YOUR HELP: for our children to be able to enjoy both Book Fair and Mother-Son dance, we need to set up the Book Fair on SATURDAY MAY 19th, 9am-2pm. We'll have bagels, coffee and pizzas! It can be done in no time if we have many helpers, even our big kids can come and help!

And of course… we’re still in dire need for volunteers to help during the Book Fair, May 21-25. We simply can’t do it without you! It takes a village... THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
Please consider signing up for a couple of hours by clicking on the following link: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0d4fa9a922a3ff2-volunteers1

Green Team

Tip of the week: When ordering a drink, say NO to the straw! And even better, if your order is not to go, ask for a “For Here Cup”!

To the parents of Room 2, thanks for signing up all week!
Kindergarteners are managing the Sorting Stations this week, but they're on field trip Thursday May 17th and will help on May 22nd instead. Could anyone sign up that day?
